The liquid oxygen, liquid argon, and liquid nitrogen storage tanks are double-layer vessels composed of inner and outer containers, adopting a vacuum powder insulation design. They can be categorized into two types: vertical and horizontal. The inner container is made of 16MnDR, while the material of the outer container can be Q235-B or 16MnR, selected based on the user’s regional conditions. The interlayer between the inner and outer containers is filled with perlite (an insulating material) and then evacuated to create a vacuum.

Thermal Insulation Performance

For thermal insulation, the interlayer is filled with perlite in a heated state and then evacuated. After the interlayer is sealed, the vacuum degree shall meet the following standards based on tank volume:

Volume ≤ 10 m³: Vacuum degree ≤ 2 Pa

10 m³ < Volume ≤ 50 m³: Vacuum degree ≤ 3 Pa

50 m³ < Volume ≤ 100 m³: Vacuum degree ≤ 5 Pa

Advanced technology and optimized filling processes are adopted to achieve excellent thermal insulation performance.

Technical Characteristics

The low-temperature liquid carbon dioxide storage tank adopts a "combined system valve" design, where two sets of valves operate simultaneously. During regular calibration, one set can be closed while the other continues to work, ensuring the continuous operation of the storage tank.

Operating System

A pressure gauge, differential pressure level gauge, and liquid level comparison chart are installed in the upper part of the tank’s inner container. These components allow real-time monitoring of the storage volume and pressure changes in the inner container, facilitating operations during filling and liquid discharge.

Functions

When the container operates under normal working pressure, it maintains a tight seal without leakage. If the pressure inside the container exceeds the specified limit, the device can automatically and reliably discharge the medium from the container, ensuring the equipment’s pressure always remains within the allowable pressure range. Under normal circumstances, in addition to the main function of automatic pressure relief, the pressure relief device also has an automatic alarm function. When it is activated to discharge gas, the medium is ejected at high speed, often producing a loud sound—this serves as an audible alarm signal indicating that the equipment pressure is too high.
