The carbon dioxide storage tank is classified as a Class III pressure vessel, and its overall structure consists of two major categories: external pipelines and the tank body. The tank body is composed of inner and outer containers, supporting components, interlayer pipelines, vacuum pumping components, and pressure relief devices. The interlayer space is filled with expanded perlite, a thermal insulation material. This vacuum interlayer space effectively prevents gas convective heat transfer and gas thermal conduction; therefore, the vacuum degree of the interlayer space plays a crucial role in the thermal insulation performance. After the external pipelines and the tank body are assembled, they need to undergo an airtightness test together with the tank body to ensure the reliability of the equipment.
